In context

This afternoon , walking down to the Parliament from a day of meetings in St Andrew’s House , I was struck by the context in which the modern Scottish Parliament building sits .

It nestles between the recent ( in geological terms) Calton graveyard and the ancient ( again in geological terms) volcanic structures of Salisbury Crags & Arthur’s Seat .

And is all the more impressive as a result.
