THE WALL

Went to Newcastle today to do some clothes shopping.  Did very well and got everything I wanted ( and more - I can't resist a bargain )

I walked down towards the Castle to get my blip shot.  The Wide Wednesday theme is " stones " so I decided to get a photo of part of the old town wall. The Tyne Bridge is in the background.  The wall was built in 13th and 14th century to repel Scottish invaders.   Thanks to BobsBlips for hosting.
