Wide Wednesday - Stones

Mexicans are master stoneworkers. They create amazing structures, some many stories tall. Case in point is the newly repaired walkway at Playa La Madera shown here. Not only are the stones strong enough to withstand the constant onslaught of the waves, but beautiful to look at as well. A lower angle would have shown of the workmanship better, but I didn't need to get soaked so settled for hanging over the edge and dangling my camera out in space. Thank goodness for the variangle screen on the back of my Canon 6D Mark II, so I could see what I was photographing.
