Day 26

Day 26.....Domfront......Its my birthday today and when I awoke it looked as if we had bunting in the camper but no.....it was a row of our pants drying on the line strung across the van. This was due to a malfunction with the tumble dryer on the campsite last night. We had a lay in, read our books, croissants for breakfast then off to a nearby medieval village called Domfront. It’s a beautiful place and there are little alleyways with tiny houses or gardens along the streets. We had a lovely 3 course ‘Plat du Jour’ the menu of the day and it was really good value. I drove back to the camp where we spent some time chatting to our neighbours and then it was tea time! We had a picnic! Some photo editing and reading then sleep. The ferry may be cancelled on Friday due to weather, we will know more tomorrow. I’ve had a lovely day thanks to hubby!
