Concrete Jungle

Beautiful day for concreting our trench for the upcoming retaining wall. Bright, crisp morning, first real frost of the autumn. After a couple of hours setting up and draining the final rain water from the trench, Blake started mixing the ingredients for the concrete. 6 hours later and 2 tonnes of materials shifted, we have the concrete poured. We'll let it cure for a few days before starting the wall.
