Ivy holding it all together

A good day, starting off with the Charlie walk where we pass this ivy clad barn or dwelling, the door on the left is very small. Later sunshine and a walk on the beach which Charlie loved, we found a stick and off he went, it’s remarkable how he can find it on the waves. The tide was coming in sadly shortening the walk on the beach, we were in a village of St Martin de Brehal near Granville, a busy spot in the summer we decided even in October we could see about a dozen motorhomes parked in the Aire by our car park.

Using the white van pointer we had lunch in a very busy restaurant near the beach, although it wasn’t until some of the workers left that we spotted their vehicles. We decided it must be the place to eat, or perhaps the only place to eat. The young lads who were cooking and serving worked flat out. A good lunch, I doubt we will need to eat again today, (imagine a horrified look on Johns face).
