A clear sky

Whenever I have seen AkkuV's wonderful night sky images it strikes me how full of stars the Finnish sky must be, and how ours is somewhat bereft with the light pollution from nearby Tauranga, as seen in the lower part of this image. But then a bit of experimentation with Deep Sky Stacker combined with lightrooms ability to lift detail, ( worked better than CS5 for me) I discovered that we do have a starry sky indeed.
