What a grey day

Grace and Ophelia returned to school and preschool respectively today, hubby is at work and so it's just me and Arwen here much of the day. After the school run I continued up the hill and around the block with the buggy. Hoping to do this more since I'm woefully unfit following the complications in the last months of pregnancy - I had difficulty walking and meanwhile was consuming the chocolate rations of a small country. Not a good combination.

I would also like to post more scenic photos this year. Since we moved from the farm these have been short in number and the journal name 'Country File' has become a bit of a misnomer, even though I'm only a couple of minutes' walk from open countryside and hills. Heck I might even find a few sheep to photograph like in the good old days ;)

Unfortunately today was as grey as ever so I'm thankful for the bare, Wintery trees and a punchy blip filter for making today's picture slightly less dull.

Also, I've obviously been spending way too much time on Facebook as I keep trying to 'like' people's comments on others' journals. Gah!
