Mr. Blue Sky

Looking through the diary we have been sitting under a blanket of low heavy cloud for two weeks now with no appreciable sun since way before Christmas. So it was such a wonderful surprise to look out this morning and see this unusual sight I just had to blip it.

Unfortunately I don't think it's going to last but for now it feels as though the lid has been taken off the sky.
