Uncertain Emotions

Not as planned

So....when I bought this gorgeous, full-length, black velvet, right-proper-posh coat over Christmas, I envisaged a photo of me wearing it, looking all sleek, glam and sophisticated.

This is how it went:
- find camera
- realise spare room resembles a launderette
- swear and quickly throw things out of frame
- find tripod
- put camera on tripod
- realise I'm flashing to the neighbours and put the coat on
- find high heels and feather mask, put these on
- take glasses off, put mask *back* on
- find the remote shutter release
- take mask off again, put glasses back on, put shutter release cable into socket on camera, take glasses off, put mask back on
- take a few photos
- realise I'm missing both my head and feet and flashing more than is polite
- adjust camera, take more photos
- realise I'm now blurred and have several chins
- realise I've run out of time and am going to be late for work
- unplug everything, take coat, mask and shoes off
- find that I'm flashing to the neighbours again so turn out bedroom light
- know that the shots aren't what I wanted but figure I can sort something out in PS
