The old and the new

I was back in Manchester today for day two of the clean up operation.  

My new boss popped into the office in between meetings and I gave him a warm welcome by screaming out loud when I saw him!!  I was totally engrossed in cleaning and didn't hear him come in until he was suddenly stood there.  Probably not the welcome he was anticipating!  

He'd asked if the kitchen had been repainted as it looked so much better - obviously my excellent cleaning techniques.  It was just the two of us in the office so a really nice opportunity to actually have a proper chat about work, my role as his PA and to get to know each other a bit.  We both agreed we're on the same wavelength and think things will work out really well.

Back in Preston for a few days but will be packing up all my stuff and bringing it home ready to move into the Manchester office full time.
