Our snowberry: Autumn 5.

Avoid pruning in summer say the guidebooks, or you’ll loose your berries. I’ve worked out there can be a compromise. Pruning in spring (as experts suggest) may mean loosing the flowers that precede the berries; I tend to carefully prune in late July and mind how how I go; by then we’ve enjoyed the flowers, reshaped the bush and still have berries to come.

A second part day pruning; conifers and jaggy stuff - and a lot of shredding; my wife helped me feed the beast this afternoon. Sore hands and shoulders this evening.
