Grumpy Kingfisher on pole.

There were two Kingfisher's sitting on a pole each this morning (the poles mark where the creek channel is for the boats)
I only managed to get one of them. This one looks real grumpy - or is that their normal look?
I have tried getting photos of them before, but only ended up with pictures of a brownish blur coming towards me, as it tried to dive bomb me.
