Extremely wet day!

I decided on this very wet day to finally finish my painting of Poldhu Cove, one of my favourite places on the Lizard in Cornwall.
I find it absorbing so I forget about not being able to do a long walk today, and concentrate on the task to hand.
I am never satisfied with the results, and I guess all creative people know that feeling.
I took the photo back in early June when we were there for our annual week’s trip. Always stay in the same place. Never tire of it.
Outside it is positively lashing down but everything looks such a luminous green.
