Sunset on the Shelter Life

I broke out two sick dogs from the local shelter and drove them an hour away to their foster families, one of which lives off of a local lake. Crossing over the lake on the interstate, I saw an amazing sunset.

The photographer in me couldn't let me miss the shot even though we were driving in the wrong direction. So, down went the window (brrrr cold wind over the lake). Out went my arm and head. Wind whipping my hair around (highway speeds).

Snap. Snap. Snap.

Perfection.

Just like the sunset. Just like the animals.
