Life on the pier

The Harbor West Condominiums sit on a long pier that juts out into Puget Sound on the edge of Beach Drive. This image was taken from Constellation Park, which is just north about 1/4 mile.

We had an extreme high tide, combined with gusty winds which provided for some really turbulent waves hitting the beach.

No need for alarm, as Harbor West sits on concrete and steel pilings. Probably a lot of fun to sit in one's condo and watch the storms roll in!

As for me and Tandy, we are up about 400 feet above sea level, and a couple miles to the south of where this image was taken.
