I pretended to hit the floor

I had an English quiz today on Julius Caesar and I think I may have gotten one wrong because I didn't know it. Also, I got a 19/20 on my Spanish speaking today which will go straight toward my midterm grade. I wanted the 20, but I'll take the 19 and get over it.

At band today, my teacher had a quartet of brass players consisting of three brothers and another guy play for us today and they were AMAZING. It was a lot of fun to listen to them. The tuba player also showed us some cool talents he had like beat boxing into the tuba and speaking into and playing the tuba at the same time.

At track, we were supposed to have nine 400m repeats but it got moved to eight. I think it was because it was getting dark out. It was a bad deal day, meaning we got a range of times to hit (mine was 78-83 seconds) and if you went over that you would have to run another one. Before we started that though, Timmy had a bet with Caity Mac that if he hit 4:38 in a mile, she would have to rub a very difficult county workout. He missed it by about 10 seconds, give or take. I had a very successful workout because my first repeat was my slowest at 81, the next few were 78-79, the next few were 76 and my last one was a 74 (almost a PR!). I found out today that I might not go to Conferences, which to be honest, is extremely disappointing. I would have at least liked to take one more attempt to PR in the mile. Our core was Virginia to 16 and circle of death planks on any side starting from 5 push ups down.

I had vey little Spanish homework tonight and now I'm watching Downtown Abbey with my mother. I'm not really paying attention though because I'm writing this description and I have never really watched this show before and to be honest, I really don't have time to. Really.
