No Entry

My first (distant) sighting of pink footed geese this autumn as I travelled to work. I love the return of the winter geese. Uplifting .

All morning in Manchester. En route I passed the secured boundary of the Conservative Party Conference. A massive police presence. Lots of Tories in town. Returning by the same route there were protesters - universal credit, HS2, anti-fracking, Leave, Remain.

And the chap in the extra. He may be a government minister. I’ve lost the plot on who is and who isn’t. And whilst I would have thought in times gone by that no serious politician would dress like this - well, we live in very strange times indeed.

Heaven knows where we are heading.
