An Unexpected Day

After a phone call yesterday we found ourselves in Sundsvall today, visiting Lasse.  It's a while since we've seen each other so it was good to meet up, eat some good soup (thanks Jan), good bread (that's my bit) and drink some delicious tea (a speciality of Lasse's).
This picture is influenced by my latest book, The Overstory. So here we are, in the town of Sundsvall, apartment blocks just behind me, but in front of me trees, doing what trees do wherever they are; soaking up sunlight, growing, storing, and communicating in their tree ways.
