Regional Seat of Government

Doors Open Day visit to the labyrinthine bunker in the old Barnton Quarry which was built as a WWII sector operations centre and then latterly used as a RSG in the Cold War. It is now an empty shell destroyed by fire in the 1990s but being slowly restored by some local volunteers. Most of the rooms were green lit, making quite an atmosphere.
