'Come in number 2, your time is up'

This was often said at boat hiring lakes up and down the country if your hired boat was number two, and you had exceeded your allotted time. I thought of this when the trawler was moving in the basin. However the tide was coming in and vessels were leaving to make good of the current good weather.
