A Story Or Two

A pile of books, most of them new at Christmas. And a daughter who loves reading with Daddy.

We especially like stories about animals. And books by Dick King-Smith, in case you didn't notice... Although tonight's was Roald Dahl - what an imagination! Just brilliant. And all the more brilliant to re-read the same stories to my children that were read to me by my mother a generation ago. (Pauses as if to check his own age...)

Now I'm settling down to digest a script. And a pack of my favourite (chilli) McCoy's, unless they've been eaten by the children... Which it appears they have. Damn it. Where's their Christmas chocolate...?
