Eventful Day

The same three as yesterday in different surroundings; we woke to beautiful, misty mountain scenery, after good sleeping, on solid ground, and in separate rooms, so no-one disturbed by each other's noises.

Good job, because then a very long day driving down Spain, and across the border to Mourão. Lunch in Palencia and supper in Cáceres. Trouble with our brakes, and a long holdup on the motorway with a burning car, extra.

Got home around midnight, to find the whole place trashed by rats/mice, not a great welcome for Tom, who is really being put to the test. Have cleared the poo and set the trap, Julia will sleep in a hammock tonight, her bed was covered; Tom is fine in the caravan.

And tomorrow is a busy day, guests, and then a visit to where the Padre is now...
