A drift

It certainly was a drift today. Struggling to sail in light breeze against a strong tide. My penultimate race, before moving. How ironic living on an island I will be surrounded by water and won't have a boat to sail on. Had a lovely dinner party last night in my honour with my sailing girl friends, where we shared many tall tales of high seas and adventures, what was so nice was how many happy exciting experiences we had shared together and many of them on my wee boat that I had for 5 years on west coast. Feeling loved and appreciated by my friends. Better stop talking now!
