Setting sail
Another gloriously hot, sunny day, just right for a morning walk on Cley beach. We decided against going to Blakeney Point, and went in the other direction, towards Salthouse. The sea was amazingly blue (extra)! Walked back via a couple of hides on the marshes - some great views across to Cley (extra).
In the afternoon, a walk along a short section of the coastal path, from Morston Quay to Blakeney. In Blakeney, we strolled on the quay and on the marshes, and watched the tide coming in. One minute the creeks were dry, and the next filling with fast-flowing water! We watched this boat setting sail from Blakeney, and followed its journey to the sea as we walked back to Morston.
We set out to have dinner at the Three Swallows, and watched the sun going down (extra) as we walked. But on arrival at the pub discovered that they were not serving food this evening, so MrM drove us into Sheringham for a meal. Back to the B&B for a drink in the bar before bed.
