Went for a walk --

-- an only slightly damp walk. We didn't need to go, Redilady already had her blip, while this creeper and weather vane are just on the opposite corner to our house. Apart from the fact that we both wanted the exercise, I was curious to see how high the river was running. It's not yet over the banks but high enough to completely cover the old weir.Thankfully we're on the side of a hill and don't need to worry about flooding. I can imagine that some people buying or having bought one of the many houses on a new estate on the flood plain half a mile away might be a little concerned.
