Otras

This is my "on-the-road-again-scarf". ("Otras")
I'm continuing to knit on a scarf for T., when we sit in the car for long rides.
Yesterday ( it's a backblip) it has growing a lot.
We left in the morning for a visit at Grandpa in Groningen.
After 340 miles / 550 km and a short stop at Grandmas grave during a downpour, we met Grandpa in an astonishing good condition.
He was told in June, that his kidneys don't work anymore and was home for a home care hospice. In the meantime he has recovered quite a lot and will be without 24 hours care from Monday on.
After two and half hours of chatting, we returned home.
We had a lovely dinner for two (a very rare occasion, the first since November 2017) and we were back home at 2 am. 
(1100 km/ almost 11 hours of driving)

Thank you to R. for taking care of T. and Omo at home, what made this insane trip possible at all! :-)
