Looking ahead
to Thursday.
We have got tickets to the Stargazing Live event at Tatton Park. The main filming with the delightful Professor Brian Cox and Dara O'Briain is at Jodrell Bank so don't think I am all giddy with excitement at the prospect of bumping into them - it isn't going to happen. However, the event at Tatton will allow me to indulge in visits to 3 different plaetaria along with making use of a range of telescopes that will be there. Unusually, photography is actually allowed and you are invited to take your camera with you - so I intended to take my camera with the t-ring attachment so I could slot into other people's scopes and do some imaging.
However, it would appear that the weather forecast is grim. So possibly my stargazing will be limited to what I see in the planetarium.
Oh well.
Hit the ground running at work today. Productive, but I am really struggling tonight. Done 3 hours of lesson prep at home as well, so now I am off to soak in the bath.
