The Royal Show

It’s been a very big day full of excitement and sore feet : ) We walked nearly 18,000 steps and the temperature reached 31c!! It was a mighty effort to keep going in the face of adversity!!! :o )

The main image was taken in the farm animal enclosure where you can get up close and personal with some of the animals, the cat stayed sound asleep and the dove was snuggling down into its fur, very unusual sight!

I’ve put a few extras in for your delight, I took so many photos (as you do) and now its hard to choose which ones to put up. The hairless cat was so fascinating, the chookie that clocked me looked quite mean, the shearer from behind made an interesting shot, the police bagpipe band before they started playing were showing kids how things worked, the prize merino sheep who won all the ribbons suddenly tried to run off, J and I reflected in a big shiny brass tank.

All in all a fantastic day, it will take me a week to get over it!! :o). Catch up tomorrow as its a holiday thank goodness!!
