Awash!

There were just a few crazy spectators on bikes this morning and but my favourite was the guy who cycled through this lake before the fire brigade began to pump it out. In his wonderful French accent, he said to me as he passed, "Ohhhh, theeess iz a BIIIIIG prrroblem!"

Hideous conditions but fascinating to watch the logistics of everyone working together to get the water level down, as well as the tough nuts when they eventually came through. Proper hard core stuff!
