Blind Beck (again?)

A fairly humdrum day, today. I was at the garage this morning while me car was serviced. I'd thought about strolling into Grange but the rain kept on coming down so I ended working from the lounge above the R8 showroom.  I've never been allowed to use this before - in fact, I didn't know it existed - but it was a nice and peaceful place to work and the coffee wasn't too bad. 

And in the afternoon, I went to the dentist's for a check up after the operation a couple of weeks ago. Again, I'd hoped to take a walk as it's less than a mile from the office but once again the rain scuppered my plans, so I drove in and left the car in the Peppercorn Lane car park, snatching this shot of Blind Beck as I hurried through the rain.

(Actually, I think I've posted a very similar shot to this as some point in the past, probably in the same circumstances!)

Reading: Actually, finished reading! I can't remember the last time I read a book in pretty much twenty-four hours but Robert Harris's 'Second Sleep' is an absolute belter. It's really hard to say much about it without spoiling in for you but I would definitely recommend it.
