Doodles

First day of the Machine Embroidery and a little disappointed as the teacher didn't really show us with a demonstration how to actually do it. Having just opened the box of my new sewing machine last night and having a little fiddle with it my efforts today weren't very good as I was trying to work out how the machine worked and bits were in a different place than I am used to, anyway here is the sample I was playing with today. I now have to decide what I want to make and get some inspiration from somewhere. At the class I was quite good at helping other people with suggestions with their projects but am at a loss with my own.
