A Very Special Breed

Today was filming day for Lucie on Big G and me on China for our online dressage competition in aid of Jo’s Cervical Cancer Charity. We were lucky enough to avoid the rain. Before we started Lucie asked if I would take some pictures of Big G as she was entering a ‘Battle Of The Breeds’ competition too and wanted a shot to represent G’s breed...Cleveland Bay. I think this sums up the breed perfectly...a solid, muscular horse, always bay in colour and with exceptionally large ears! They are currently on the rare breeds list and so are a very special breed.

The dressaging went better for Lucie and Big G than it did for me and China, but I found it really useful to have a video to watch back. I had considered not submitting it for marking, but I felt that if I did, I would at least have a starting point to improve from.
