Lace day

Up early to help set up for our lace day.
A day spent doing lac3 and buying goods.
However as a member it is not like that, when it’s your own lace day - i usually help my friend with the raffle and our members didn’t disappoint us as we had 165 prizes.
Once set up, it was then an 1.5 hours of selling raffle tickets and folding their partner tickets.
Raffle drawn at 12:15 and 1pm onwards collection of prizes.
Before the speaker a special announcement for one of our members, this wonderful piece of lace was voted best piece by visitors of a recent exhibition h3ld by The Lace Guild - stunning work.
Then the speaker - Michele Carragher, embroiderer (costumes fir Game of Thrones part of her work - see extras).

I left early after the speaker, to pop in to see AJ.

(Managed to win 3 prizes on the raffle).
