SHETLAND AT IT'S BEST
Yep, that'll do me for a view, thank you.
All a bit hectic today. Off the ferry at 7:30am and on to Fjara for breakfast. Quick whizz round the supermarket after and then off South for the birds.
At Levenwick, an Isabelline Shrike which may be a Turkestan Shrike*.
Next a Semi-palmated Sandpiper at Grutness by the windsock. I do like a definite location for weeny birds.
Then we went back to unpack and settle in ........ but no! An Olive-backed Pipit at Pundsta Place just 2 minutes down the road. Yes, saw it thank goodness, so we should have a contented night.
Back home now and finished the unpacking but I think I'll soon be in bed.
