Horse Chestnut Tree

Another sign of autumn,  This tree is in a neighbours front garden, and is laden with 'conkers'.  Some are fully encased in their spiky cases, while others are splitting open.  The shiny brown conkers will soon be falling to the ground ready to be collected by the local children on their way to school.
