Rural Idyll

This family summer home has stood empty for 2 years after a family death.  Set in an acre of ancient orchard, surrounded by wide hedges and then fields.  I run the big mower over access ways occasionally so the family will not be too depressed if they visit and have to use machetes to get to the house.  The sun filters through the foliage; fruit ripens and drops, feeding birds and deer; magpies, jays and other birds chatter; the vines and olive and fig trees soak up the sun and reminisce about the Mediterranean.
