Banksia scent pod

Our son went to Australia and all he bought us was this lousy tee-shirt carved Banksia seed pod.

It has a little stopper at the top to enable you to add your favourite oil such as Eucalyptus. The wooden pod then soaks in the oil and slowly releases the fragrance.

I wonder does it work with extra virgin oil - I could smell myself fit and healthy?
