Young love

On my last night in USA for 2019 I got to choose the restaurant. I selected Bravo, an Italian restaurant which is an old favourite of mine. It is situated in the area known as Uptown Albuquerque.

I spotted this young couple across from us. They were beautifully dressed, and very much eyes for each other, and very young. It may have been a first date. (Thanks to Big Ed, he feels that it was probably their high school Home coming dance.)

Having complimented them on looking so smart and well dressed, I asked if I could take a photo of them. They were more than happy to do so. I felt it best not to intrude any further by asking any questions as to what they may be celebrating.

The meal was outstanding and I mentioned this to the manager and told him that his place is typically where I have my last meal in this city each year. He appreciated that fact, and gave me free desert plus free meal vouchers for when I return to ABQ next year. Now that is real class.

On the way home we called in at the Whole Foods Market. It is a huge store offering every type of food you could imagine. On the way out I spotted these pumpkins, ready for Halloween. They made a nice colourful photo for my extra for today. Next blip will be taken during the flight back home to Australia.
