Tit, Jets And Jay

One of a troupe of long-tailed-tits on a hawthorn bush this morning. I love how its red eyelids match the haws. :)

I rushed outside after breakfast when I heard an aircraft engine and just managed to get a shot of a Jet Provost. Strange that I saw another as I returned from Fishers Green this afternoon. Ollie dog and I walked to Holyfield Farm looking for stonechats and the like but it started raining so we went back to Longlands hide. I got a mediocre shot of the jay with an acorn in its beak. I'd like to better it.
