Native Waratah on Wombat Hollow

This beautiful Waratah is growing right next to the driveway and I will be able to check it out every time I drive up to the house. I thought I would repeat my performance and take an image every week so that we can check its progress. I really do love the native Waratahs. There’s something very special about them and even one bloom on its own can be seen from a great distance. There are a couple of whopper buds on a bush just above the carport this year so I’ll also be keeping a close eye on them.
