Some Moisture

It wasn't to o bad on the morning walk - but it went from drizzle to rain to a downpour in a very short time at lunchtime. I was glad I took a brolly, but that didn't stop the rain bouncing off the ground and soaking through my trousers from the knees down requiring a change when I got home. It was a 2 towel job to dry PD.

There was a charity coffee morning at the school late morning ……. what a racket! We didn't stay long.

The Larder (our usual lunch spot on a Friday) is moving to a much larger premises - but that wont be open for another few weeks. So we set off for their smaller place in East Calder ……… and failed. There had been an accident 10 miles along the road and the traffic was backed up for at least 12 miles ……… so it was home for a sandwich instead.


I tried printing out some pictures this afternoon and the printer was mucking about something terrible - there was ink all over cartridges for some inexplicable reason. So I took them out and cleaned them up before continuing. I then had the most terrible banding on the prints so I did a head cleaning run - and another - and another. They were getting worse not better.
So I ditched all those cartridges and put in new ones. That seemed to be much better, but I have a look tomorrow when they are dry. If they aren't up to scratch the printer is heading to the dump!
