Dolly at Basel Minster

We had an early flight to Basel this morning, but with the time difference we arrived around lunchtime. We picked up our car at the french side of the airport, as we are staying in France, and headed to our accommodation. A quick stop and we drove to the supermarket for some essentials, I also wanted a bit of practice driving on the wrong side of the road, it’s been a while. We headed into Basel by public transport as it can be a bit tricky to take a car in. There is a border post which I wasn’t expecting, although no stops required, yet. We decided to walk up Basel Minster for the views, they were pretty fab. I’ve included an extra of a panorama with the view over the Rhine. We had the most enormous pretzels sitting on steps by the Rhine before taking the Tram to the border and walking home through Saint Louis, where we are staying.
