Incidently I am holding in my hand two copies of Abbey Road on CD, this fab piece of work by the Beatles was released 50 years ago yesterday and I love it. Have owned in three times on vinyl, two times on CD and once on cassette. 
Is it as good as Rubber Soul? After 40 years I still can't decide but enjoy listening to both whilst pondering this important issue.
The eagle eyed will notice I am also holding a copy of Let it Bleed, this album knocked Abbey Road off the #1 spot in December 1969 and is, in my opinion, the greatest rock album ever recorded.
