The day started with beautiful sunshine and I noticed lots of insect activity on the Ivy blossom, not quite sure whether this is a wasp or bee species.. 
The weather took a turn for the worse late afternoon, with high winds, a thunderstorm and torrential rain, but fortunately I was able to cut all of the grass and put a second coat of paint onto my cabin beforehand.
