Sandringham
We visited Sandringham today. We didn’t go into the house ((don’t ask!) but enjoyed seeing little church. It is very simple on the outside (see extra) like any village church, but inside it has been highly decorated. The pulpit and altar are both elaborate silver, the roof is intricately painted, and there are very interesting memorial tablets to read, remembering not only members of the royal family, but Sandringham staff too.
We wandered back on a twisty main road, restricted to 20 mph through villages.
Back in the hotel we have just had a torrential rain storm with thunder and lightning.
