Lassen National Park

We usually head straight down I-5 on our way to the Monterey Jazz Festival, but this time we took a different route going through Bend, Lassen Park, and ending in Chico after dark.
Wikipedia: Lassen Volcanic National Park is an American national park in northeastern California. The dominant feature of the park is Lassen Peak, the largest plug dome volcano in the world and the southernmost volcano in the Cascade Range.
