Macmillan coffee morning

Loads of cakes - a great way to start a friday. Everyone had contributed something, and we had quite a feast, all thanks to Lorraine for organising (& for baking some delicious cakes, scones and sausage rolls)

I'm glad to get to the end of this working week. It has been a slog and I don't feel I've accomplished much.

Wet at lunchtime, but I had a quick wander and bought a few bits in poundland - mainly antihistamine tablets. £1 for 30. In Boots the cheapest were £3.99, for 14 or £1.99 for 7.

Heading home to see our new car! Quite excited. Jon is en route from Cambridge as I type...

More curtain work tonight is the plan, after I've been shopping.
