Winnie the Pooh (and Tigger too!)

Our last day in New York :(
We didn't have to be at the airport until the evening so decided to have a walk around the Christmas market again in the morning. Bought hot chocolate from a kiosk that made us both feel sick and very full for the whole morning - bit too rich we think.

We went into Grand Central Terminal and attempted to work the Whispering Gallery (an area where you are supposed to whisper at the walls and someone can hear it across from you) we couldn't do it but heard others get it to work, obviously we're just not very good whisperers!

Our next stop was a tour of the New York Public Library. Along with the reading room and huge marble columns we spotted the cuddly toys that inspired the Winnie the Pooh stories of A.A. Milne. Clearly some artistic license been used for them!

Sadly we collected our luggage and walked to our final stop, a macaroni cheese restaurant. LH isn't a fan and says it's bland so RH made him walk to here and have a sharing platter - 8 different varieties of macaroni cheese in a cast iron pan. Not sure he's a complete convert but the plate was clean!

Hopped on the train from Penn Station to Newark and beyond...
