A Chattering...

...of Starlings. These were doing exactly that!
I was on my way in to the Time Capsule in Blairhill near Glasgow, to watch Amelia's ice skating lesson. I came up on the train from Skipton today.
On my way to the door I looked up to see where the commotion was coming from and saw all these starlings.
I knew the collective name for them is
 'a murmuration' if they are flying in those spectacular patterns but wasn't sure about that term if they are perched somewhere - so I looked it up.

NB The Time Capsule is a swimming pool and an ice rink in one complex.
